Gateway to Music City 2

The Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge brings a distinctly modern silhouette to Nashville’s riverfront. Its enormous white steel arches rise above the Cumberland River, while the underside glows red after dark — a combination that makes the bridge feel almost sculptural against the city.

From beneath the structure, its scale and engineering dominate. From the roadway, the repeating arches create a tunnel of steel and light. But from across the Cumberland, the bridge takes on an entirely different role: one enormous illuminated arc framing the Nashville skyline beyond it.

Built to carry traffic, designed to cross a river — but after dark, it becomes part of the architecture of Music City itself.
