There’s no horizon here. No grand view waiting at the bottom. Just a staircase folding tightly around itself, disappearing one turn at a time inside a ridiculous amount of orange.

That’s what makes the perspective work. You’re standing at the top, but the photograph never really tells you where the bottom is. The rails curve away, the steps overlap, and every line seems to pull you farther into the frame.

Sometimes the interesting part isn’t where the stairs lead. It’s that you can’t quite see what’s waiting around the next turn.
