There’s something almost confrontational about the way these buildings meet. Neither seems willing to step aside, leaving a narrow seam of stone, windows and shadow where two completely different surfaces are forced together.
From below, the collision becomes the architecture. What might barely register at street level suddenly feels monumental — two walls rising independently, meeting awkwardly, and creating something far more interesting in the disagreement.
