A Little Piece of the Alps 2

Tucked into the Lauterbrunnen Valley, this covered wooden bridge spans the glacier-fed Weisse Lütschine, surrounded by the kind of scenery that barely seems real — turquoise water, timber chalets, green hillsides and mountains rising almost straight from the valley floor.

The bridge is simple and practical, but the details give it character: exposed timber beams, flower boxes along the side, and people stopping inside to look out over the river.

Then there is that second scene — the old blue flower cart sitting beside the bridge. Nothing monumental, nothing grand. Just one of those small corners of Switzerland where everything somehow ends up exactly where it belongs.
