Sunlight falls across a weathered façade where rows of deep green shutters conceal the private lives behind them. Some stand open, others remain tightly closed, while balconies reach outward over walls marked by age, rain and time. Even the fading plants seem to belong here, hanging quietly above the street as another season passes.

There is an intimacy to these old windows. Each one suggests a room beyond the glass, a morning routine, a conversation, a life unfolding just out of sight. The architecture may belong to another century, but these buildings were never meant simply to be admired. They were meant to be lived in.

Perhaps that is what gives them their character. The walls reveal their age. The shutters keep their secrets.
