Long before furniture came flat-packed in cardboard boxes, there was this. Heavy timber, scarred by years of use, held together with oversized joints, iron hardware and the kind of construction that seems almost excessive today. What began as a working table has collected every cut, stain and dent along the way — and somehow all that wear has become the thing that makes it beautiful.
