From atop the perch at Harder Kulm, Interlaken reveals the geography that gave the town its name. The city spreads across the broad valley floor between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, while the Lütschine Valley cuts deep into the mountains toward the Bernese Alps. From this height, roads, railways, neighborhoods and farmland converge into one sweeping view — with a lone paraglider suspended above it all.
