Kandersteg feels almost engineered for the camera. Wildflower meadows cover the valley floor while traditional chalets and a small stone church sit beneath walls of rock and snow-covered peaks. Roads and walking paths disappear toward the mountains, and nearly every turn seems to rearrange the same ingredients into another photograph. These views capture Kandersteg in late spring, when the valley was already intensely green and flowering while winter still held onto the higher elevations.
