There’s something satisfying about a staircase that refuses to behave. It climbs, turns, disappears, then seems to start negotiating with itself about where it wants to go next.
The old stone only makes the geometry better. Nothing here was designed to give you a clean, modern line from one place to another. You follow the stairs because the stairs have already decided where you’re going.
